Summarization: Sadie hasn’t had an easy life. Growing up on her own, she’s been raising her sister Mattie in an isolated small town, trying her best to provide a normal life and keep their heads above water. But when Mattie is found dead. A serial – like podcast follows the clues she’s left behind.

Review: A tale of two sisters. One alive. One dead. Sadie goes through the journey of Sadie herself to find her sister Mattie’s killer while a serial like podcast follow the clues of what she has left behind in order to figure out her motive for her disappearance.

The book overall has a mysterious feel to it. You’re constantly questioning the motive of not only the killer, but Sadie as well. Shows a type of family bond that is hard to read, but is needed to understand the characters. A page turner even when you get to the last page of the book. One that will leave you guessing what type of person Sadie is until the very end.

I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down until I got to the last page. If you want a book that has a serial like podcast with both a taste of mystery and crime, this the book I recommend for you.
